Hello! My name is Adrian. I am a hobbit apprentice to the Keychain (out of game note, I don't know who I am apprenticed to otherwise I would mention it). Here is my record of the adventures that happened yesterday in Feyvale. We did less than usual because we all arrived at the inn at about 11:00
First Mission: I am in the inn with some fellow adventurers. A lady comes in and introduces herself as Lady Teresa Firespark. She treats us as though we were military, not that I mind that. We vote on missions and chose to go break up a bandit blockade. Teresa says she will go too. I decide not to go seeing no historical interest in this mission. My retelling of this mission is all based on the accounts of other people.
The group first ran into a friendly merchant. Everyone except Teresa ran away from the merchant and clumped together about 30 feet away looking frightened. Teresa called them back and also called them cowards. They talked with the merchant for awhile but didn't have any money to buy anything. The merchant had apparently been robbed by the bandits.
Next they ran into three ogres who were carrying some dead loggers. With a little help from Teresa they took them out and continued.
The group saw some people blocking the road ahead. The people said that there was a toll on the road, ten gold a person. When the group refused to pay the people/bandits attacked. The bandits were beaten easily. I hope they have learned their lesson.
Second Mission: We voted on missions again and decided to investigate a hole that a woman had fallen down and been killed in. I was on this mission but I had a bad time of it as you will see. We get to the hole and go down. We see by the light of a torch that there is a group of about four or five kobolds. Of course one of our party members immediately attacks and others follow his example. I started to heal one of the kobolds believing them not initially to be hostile. Suddenly one of my party members stabs me and the slays me! Just before I die I wonder how such an inexperienced adventurer could execute such a high level assassin's move. According to the other party members they fought many waves of kobolds before arriving at a shrine to Dagdamar. The man who killed me then sacrificed himself on the alter. When they get back to town there is a new woman in the inn. She is a wood elf diplomat. Her name is too long for me to remember but she told us to call her Kala. They explained what happened and she didn't seem pleased. We had one of our party members identified and we apparently had a "blessing" from Dagdamar. It made it so that all their attacks on fey count as slay. Thankfully I was dead when they got the "blessing" so I didn't receive it. We also seemed to have some sort of magical mark but we didn't know what that meant.
Third Mission: We decide to investigate some thieving goblins. We run into a merchant who had a single chainmail shirt stolen. We come upon the goblins but they look very strange. Some have branches for arms and some have their feet on backwards. I decide that they must have been attacked by faeries. We play with them for a bit but when they capture one of us, there were a lot of them, we attack. After we take most of them out I slip into the goblin's hole. There I see eight goblins surrounding the captured person. I take out two and then run away. I come back in with some others and we take out the goblins. There is another room which we enter. There we see another goblin. This one is sorting interesting objects. After we find out that one of the objects is magic, someone knocks her out and takes the stuff. We find two suites of mastercrafted chainmail plus a magical ring and some nonmagical amulets and rings. we then go back to town.
Fourth Mission: We arrive at the in and see another person this one is named Thistle. He removes the "blessing" from us but I could have sworn that the elder sorcery he used said that he sacrificed his life to do it. The party investigates a lost child. I am not on this mission because I was rather tired from my days adventuring. The party runs into the town of the lost child. They meet a blacksmith who tells them which direction they should go. For some reason they hire a six year old friend of the lost child.
They then run into a hunter who is tired of the elven law which states that you may not harm animals. He is hunting a deer. There are also two wolves. The party try not to harm the wolves but one of them does get wounded for a few seconds. The child they hired gets devoured by the wolves.
They proceed on and see the "lost" child playing with some faeries. The faeries don't like the party so close so they start teleporting them away. One of the faeries gets wounded but is healed. Suddenly all of the faeries perk up and run away. If anyone has info on this please say. The child tries to follow but can't find them. The party catches up with the child and takes him back to his parents.
The day has gone by this time and we all retire to our rooms in the inn.
Happy days and happy nights to you, reader.
Recorded with truth by Adrian

Okay, try two. Let's see if this time I can stay on top of writing these chronicles.
Greetings, I am Plum, recording this from my long stay beside an Elder Ent. Here is a record of our most recent adventures in Feyveil.
We met with Cala, and after the lengthy Elven process of determining missions, we decided on trying to heal the Elder Ent. Here is the story behind this. A few months ago, we set out on a mission to defend four Ents, who were carrying a giant tree, from about a hundred ogres. We did this successfully and some feylights appeared and followed the ent into the nearby forest. One odd thing about the battle with the ogres is that all spells were costing one more mana then they should. Later in the day, some of the adventurers apparently were asked by some strangers whether they knew any areas where magic wasn't working, and they foolishly told them of the Ent.
About a week later, I was in Feyveil adventuring with some friends, when we suddenly ran into a very skilled group of dark heroes. The four Ents were there, and were getting attacked by the leader of the dark heroes with a morganti dagger! We didn't feel like we could take out the dark heroes, but we did buy enough time for the Ent's to escape. We came back with a bigger party, and managed to capture all the dark heroes fairly easily. The big tree, which we now knew was an Elder Ent, seemed wounded, and all magic wasn't working in the encounter. I am a shrine to Ma'at, so I asked her for a divine rebirth since divine magic was working in the encounter. We all made a sacrifice, and I felt that something had slowly started to move, not literally, but something good had started slowly. I have been staying by this ent, only leaving to adventure about twice a month.
Now you know the backstory, so I can tell you how the mission went. I didn't go on it (I know it seems odd since I was the one trying to do a divine rebirth, but there were only five other baddies) so this is the party's report. They ran into some harpies on the way, but passed them easily. Once they got to the Ents, the Andionion elves who were staying with the ent told them to get some herbs, water, and make a shrine to the fey. They did manage to get the herbs and water despite the skeletons that were trying to stop them. They then made the shrine and made a sacrifice. Before the sacrifice magic wasn't working at all, afterwards, it was only one mana per use. They also had a vision, but I don't remember what they said it was. I will ask them and update this report when I can.
(Edit: I consulted one of the party members, and here is the vision they had. This might not be the order that they saw them in, but it is all of the different visions. First they felt like they were a child and in front of them was a lake. They walked into the lake and started to swim. After they had got deeper, they felt themselves being pulled under by a really strong current. In the second vision they saw some ants running around in a circle, then a large round metal object appeared and crushed most but not all of the ants. In the third vision they saw a tree with a door in it. The door had no knob on it. The door then turned into a shield that then rusted. In the fourth vision they saw a giant flaming figure that was attacking butterflies that were flying around it. In the last vision they saw wolves with black teeth running through the forest and the all the plants behind them completely died. There were bugs that were flying around the wolves and getting attacked, but the bugs were trying to attack the wolves back. All of this is very similar to a vision I had in spireguard where we had the first and fourth visions. I think that at least some of the visions have something to do with the morganti hole in the world.)
The elves took the herbs and water and started to do something with them, they didn't know what. After this they went back to town for lunch since they had spent far longer than you might think on this mission.
After lunch the party went to stop some marauding orcs that had burned down a village. On the way we rescued some of the villagers trying to cross what I believe was the west Celeroth river. We rescued them, and crossed the river. On the other side we managed to clear their town of the orcs, and decided to press on. We ran into a much more experienced group of orcs that we couldn't beat. We ended up going back to town after losing to them a couple of times.
The party then decided to try and take out the orks again, but this time I didn't come. They never got to the orcs because on the way they ran into some haunts. Each of the haunts was haunting a different object of clothing, and all of them did this scene. They are walking along, when suddenly they see something and look surprised. They get ready to fight, and then suddenly turn inside out and disappear. The party saw a hut that was close by so they went in and saw some other haunts. These ones seemed to be very well equipped and they were marching up the hall towards this woman in a red dress. Once they got to her, they got ready to attack, but the woman suddenly thrust her hand into the middle of the group and all the haunts except the woman disappeared. After a little while the other haunts appeared and did the scene again. The party threw a medicine ball at the woman, and after going down for a moment, she got up again and attack the party with mana drain. After this they left. My belief is that the woman might be using a Crimson Dress of Tragedy, but that is just a guess.
These were all the missions that the party did, and I retired back to the Elder Ent to write this report.
May Ma'at bless your way, Plum

Greetings, I am Plum, writing to you from Feyvale. For this chronicle I will be sharing my report with Narbian, a hobbit adventurer and harper from spireguard. Recently there have been some giant developments in the fading of magic. Anyone who is trying to help magic in any way should absolutely read this.
Narbian
For our first mission we decided to help an elder ent. Apparently the events of the party finding and helping the elder ent have already been recorded so see the previous chronicle if you don't know what I'm talking about. On the way we ran into a disorganized patrol from Feyvale. For some reason Feyvale's military had been having quite a few problems with troupes showing up where they weren't supposed to be, or not showing up at all. More on that later.
We got to the place where the ent was and we found it awake and standing up! It thanked the party for helping it survive. It also gave us some information.
1. Only three other Elder Ents are still alive. These are in the Cerebrimeon and they are being attacked. They must be defended at all costs.
2. In every forest there is a portal to the Silver Dream, in other words the Fey realm. These portals can only be opened once. However, in the Trolden forest is the eternal portal. It is always open. This portal must also be defended at all costs.
It then grew a rod out of itself. This was like one of the rods that adventurers used when the Darkness Zone was disappearing. The rods abilities are something like this:
Treeform Improvement: X mana The user's treeforms cost an additional X mana to force revert.
Mana storing equal to your level. I think this mana can only be used on Nature abilities
The rod itself is semi-sentient and has Rebirth and one other ability I don't remember (Wilderness Energy).
Tier=User's tier minus their ranks in Nature Mage.
We then returned to town.
Plum
I heard about the events of the elder ent and decided to go with the party when they went out to defend the portal. Outside of town is a grove. This was where the portal was supposed to be according to a party member. We tried walking into the grove, but whenever we tried, we ended up where we started. To me this reminded me a lot of the Wildwood. I suggested we all close our eyes and try and walk in. This worked but we lost a couple of people in the progress. Another party member and I, both very good trackers found them eventually. All this time we had been hearing the sounds of battle, but we couldn't figure out where they were coming from.
The other tracker turned out to know how to track in the wildwood. Because of this he noticed that there were mushrooms on the ground. We followed the mushrooms and ended up getting to the center of the grove where there was a giant tree. There we saw a group of Dagdeoth attacking some young ents. We immediately charged the Dagdeoth troups and took them out saving the young ents. We waited for a bit and then another group attacked. Our souls felt immediately afraid, and I cursed myself for not bringing my Silveel. This group consisted of some Battlebones, and three noble vampires with a Morganti axe. We weren't able to defeat them.
After a lunch break in which many powerful adventurers arrived in Feyvale we set out again. We got to the tree, but the Vampires were nowhere to be seen. The tree had mushrooms growing in a spiral up it, and remembering that following the mushrooms was correct before, we simply walked up the tree following the mushrooms. I have to say that that was a rather odd experience. When we got to the top of the tree, we found an archway. We went through and found ourselves in a giant dungeon way too big to be inside the tree. In the first room were the vampires from before. There were also two new creatures. One was a wraith with grey eyes. The other was a what looked like a tomb wight though I was more focused on the vampires.
We all kind of decided to attack the wraith since it was standing apart from the vampires. This was a mistake. If you have ever fought a wraith, you know they are very dangerous. If you have ever fought a blue wraith you will know that these can be deadly with there ability to create other blue wraiths by mana draining people. This was worse. The wraith was like a blue wraith, but it was attacking with mana drain deadly. We immediately backed off and attacked the vampires. They all disappeared into the ethereal, but the tomb weight started to attack them. I know now that it wasn't a tomb wight and was actually a Lady of the Nightwatch in disguise. The battle was going well with one vampire taken out when suddenly we lost a party member to the grey wraith. Immediately we swarmed him before he could kill anyone else.
The Lady of the Nightwatch was a giant help using ethereal drag aura to stop the vampires from just disappearing. Finally there was only one vampire left. As soon as it left the duel it was in I hit it with my sword and it fell. I thanked Ma'at that we hadn't lost anyone to the Morganti. It had been disarmed and the vampires never got it back. We continued into the dungeon and it seemed to be a series endless passageways, but the wildwood tracker noticed that the mushrooms continued. We followed the mushrooms and they told us where to go. There was a circle of mushrooms on the wall at one point, and I, being a dwarf, noticed that there was a secret door there. Behind it was a locked chest. When we put mana into it, it asked us a riddle. The first person didn't hear anything, and so he guessed mushrooms. The other people heard mushrooms as the riddle. I have no idea what the answer is, I mean what kind of riddle is "mushrooms?"
We kept following the mushrooms and came to a shimmering arch. This we all understood was the eternal portal. Some of our party went in, however I stayed behind since the Elder Ent said we should guard the portal not go through it. The remaining people in the party then returned to town.
Narbian
You probably remember that I said that we would come back to the town guard. When we met the lost patrol they mentioned a certain Captain Garron who had ordered them on a weird patrol. We decided to look into this. We went to the barracks and watched the army practicing. It seemed like they were fairly incompetent. One was training to be a jester. I have nothing against performers, I am one myself, but this is supposed to be the town guard not the town players. We saw the leader of the division, whose name we later learned was Jaina, receive orders and send the division out. Something was mentioned about getting payment from Captain Garron.
We then met with Captain Garron. I talked to him since I can be very charming at times. While I questioned him, another party member who introduced himself simply as "Runeweaver," did an identify on him using his eyes. Very odd. Anyway the identify didn't show anything unusual. Garron said that paperwork was bogging him and the other captain, Captain Liara, down. Troupes just kept either not showing up or showing up in the wrong place and so on. We agreed to do a patrol on the wall for them, since they seemed to need it. We defended the wall from some brittlemen and spinemen fairly easily. We then saw another patrol approach the wall, however a Keeper of the Flame, an order headed by the military innkeeper Teresa Firspark and meant to protect the town and hunt undead, stopped them. She was a Storm Mage, Necromancer and she asked for their report before they reported to whomever in the town guard they were supposed to.
They reported some orks and humans and a vampire in the woods! The keeper of the flame sent them out after the vampire before they could give their report to Garron or someone else from the town guard. I did a bit of research and found out that the Keepers of the Flame have been acting a bit weirdly lately. Given the vampire problem we have now, I would suspect that they have been infiltrated. The last time vampires were a problem in this area was when a group of bandits called the Dead Crows were led by a noble vampire named Corben who was likely created by Rhysic. I don't know what to do about the Keepers of the Flame, but we told Teresa Firespark about this and she has launched an investigation.
This was all we did today, so may music be with you and may Ma'at bless your way, Plum and Narbian

Greetings, I am Plum, writing to you from my home in Steelfist Keep (On a side note, if you need to contact me, this is where you should look. I lead the town guard and the Paladin's guild so I shouldn't be hard to find). I apologize for not writing this sooner, but as you will see it was a different sort of day.
We started off by going out to defend the portal. If you don't know what I am talking about, read my previous chronicle. On the way we ran into some humans that were attacking fey balls. We dealt with them easily. Apparently these were a separate mission on the board, but since we dispatched them, that was a mission off the board. We then entered the grove. First we ran into some skeletons that we dealt with easily. We then went up the tree, and ran into more skeletons and a noble vampire. We only had about six or seven people in our party and of those few only me and one other were in any way ready to deal with a noble. I got dueled and mana drained to death and the other person couldn't beat all of them by himself so we bailed.
By this time it was around noon so we all took a break for lunch. After lunch we decided to investigate the town guard which, if you have been reading my chronicles, you know has been disorganized. At this point I must fail in my duties as a recorder of our adventures since we have been sworn to secrecy about this. I can't tell you whether we learned anything important about the town guard, but if you wish to know, please contact Theresa Firespark to get her clearance and bring papers proving you have done so to me or another party member.
May Ma'at bless your way, Plum

Greetings, I am Plum, writing to you from Steelfist Keep.
We started out the day by going out to investigate Thistle's cave a bit more. By this time, the adventurers had stolen, uh I mean taken, everything from the cave... that includes the furniture. Apparently while on the way there today, they ran into a spirit which seemed to make magic fail near it. Both my friends and I believe that this was a null-magic haunt, since we found a broken null-magic blade recently. They also came across some members of the Guru cult. Some of them followed them to their shrine and set themselves up so that if they wanted to they could infiltrate the cult later. They then returned to town since we had spent a long time doing practice fights that morning on account of the new recruits.
After lunch, we went out to deal with a Dagdeoth legion that had mysteriously appeared. Weird since we are very far from Dagdeoth territory. They had been held off by some priestesses of the Elder Goddess, and when we ran into the legion, a priestess was there to help us. We lost. However, this was mainly due to our party. I always try to see the best side in everyone I know, however the party's behavior was almost inexcusable. My friend and I may as well have been the only ones there since the priestess was killed immediately. Everyone else in the party hid and never came out. It doesn't really matter how powerful two people are in that sort of situation. The legion was well equipped and well ranked and though we could have each taken any one of them or maybe two of them in a duel, they could heal and we couldn't stop them. For those saying that we should have killed them, you may be correct but I believe everyone deserves their life, even Dagdeoth.
Anyway I should stop making such a big deal about it and get on with the day. After that we decided to go kill the vampires at the portal (see previous chronicles if you don't know what I'm talking about). On the way there we ran into a gnome who apparently had a package to deliver to the portal. After some vetting we agreed. He gave us a box that we were told not to open and a shield and full plate to help protect us.
We came to the grove and there were some people around it. They threatened us and told us to leave. We figured they were dark heroes and attacked them. They weren't too hard to kill, however they had a very dangerous weapon. They had a bag of what we later learned was sea salt. When they sprinkled it on the ground, no magic worked. That includes magic items and divine magic. This is not a property of normal sea salt obviously so if anyone knows how this is created, please respond to this and tell us.
Anyway, we beat them, however when we got to the giant tree, the mushroom levitation wasn't working (before we were able to walk up the side of the tree following the mushrooms). I flew up to the top and saw that there was that same sea salt all over the door. Thankfully one of us had whirlwind aura and was able to clear all the salt off the tree. After this, the mushrooms worked normally. We went through the door and found a group of powerful skeletons inside the door. They seemed to be ready for us and managed quite a few unforges before we killed them. One of the things they unforged was the box given to us by the gnome. Inside was a small metal sphere that resisted identify. However, one of our party members, Alexander, by name had warded identify and it turned out to be... nothing, that's all it was. We continued on and found no vampire! We immediately came to the portal where there was a different gnome. We told him the box had been unforged and he didn't seem to care. In fact he reverted the shield and it turned out to be the real package. It looked like a small metalwork ball with a blue flame inside. The gnome threw this into the portal and jumped in afterwards.
We then went back to town and decided to go on a mission for Teresa. If you have been reading my previous chronicles you have probably already guessed that I can't tell you anything about it. After our contract that doesn't allow us to say anything is voided, I will post a full report of what happened.
This is all we did, so may Ma'at bless your way, Plum

Greetings, I am Plum, writing from Feyvale. Today was interesting, and so will this chronicle since lots of it has to do with what we found out about the town guard. I'm not sure how far the forms we signed go so if Teresa feels like this should be removed, tell me and I will. Anyway, lots of things will seem disjointed here because of what I can't tell you so just trust me about this whole chronicle.
First some world news. The Dark Wilds has been blown up and a giant mana wave went across Roekron from the center of the Dark Wilds. Magic is still at OP 1 which is reassuring since it usually goes down every month. The Wizard Trade Order is attacking new Geb and Sorikonia, and Pinnacle and Sorikonia have been infiltrated by vampires. There will likely be a giant war between Svodlun, Stonehammer, Illionas, and Dagdeoth for the unoccupied land left by the Dark Wilds. Hopefully the first three nations will alliance against Dagdeoth, splitting the territory between them.
Local News: We have multiple elite Dagdeoth divisions appear using the door waypoint system. Check earlier chronicles if you don't know what I'm talking about. The town guard is in total disarray, and a very powerful adventuring friend of mine just came back from imprisonment in Dagdeoth after being captured by a storm demon with Morganti. He says a powerful entity freed him and now he has to give it all his wealth.
We started off by going to deal with the town guard, but... yeah, can't talk about that. Anyway next we went out to deal with one of the Dagdeoth divisions. I didn't feel like going, which in hindsight may have been a mistake. The first few divisions were fairly easy, well easy for a very high level adventuring party. Some Turuk orks, a dark troll or two, they lost a couple of times, but immediately beat the division the lost to afterwards. Then came the first real challenge. A high ranking division led by a Paladin of the Dagdemar with a Morganti sword. One character was Morganti killed and another is still alive at -3 Morganti. They did win however, taking the Morganti and the leader with them. They ran into a small group of deathspikes who they dispatched with ease, and lastly they ran into... dark heroes... with Morganti. The only one that really stood out was a Priestess of the Dagdemar. She also had demon wings and horns and, of course, was the one with the Morganti. They lost. No more Morganti casualties, that was the very last group, and it was quite tough so I don't blame them at all. We took a lunch break, and here is where things start to get... interesting. Remember that my friend just came back from imprisonment in Dagdeoth. He is handing over all his wealth and to do this he is leaving it in an abandoned castle. We decided to go with him when he dropped off his stuff and also decided to wait for the powerful entity to take his items. He didn't really like this which was the first tip off. There was one of the portal doors in this ruin and we waited by it for quite a while. Then finally the door glowed blue and through it came some known Dagdeoth spies. My friend immediately killed himself and then reanimated as a half demon! I believe the adventurers ran at this point leaving all the powerful magic items that my friend "gave" to Dagdeoth. He has been exorcised and verified that he is no longer possessed by the demon, but the 530,000 some odd money in magic items are now in Dagdeoth's hands.
For the last mission of the day we decided to go and deal with the dark heroes. We almost beat them. I was using certain items that made me effectively resistant to damage, however one of the dark heroes was a Kensai and had Iaido so he managed to kill me. The Priestess of the Dagdemar, who still had a Morganti dagger, had some sort of outsider regenerating and kept rebirthing everyone. It was unpleasant. Anyway we did end up losing after giving them some deaths.
The day was old by that time and we wrapped up and left the inn.
May Maat bless your way, Plum

Regarding that "powerful friend of yours", about 70,000 of his gold was in check-form, so it was not lost to Dagdeoth (luckily)!
I hope you continue your chronicles after the time-jump.
