What specifically are you historianing? I can get a general sense from your post, but in general it's better to say, "I am historianing these questions" rather than a ramble followed by "historian powers, activate!". So. Specifics?

Can we find anything on deer girl? Can we find anything on the adventurers who defeated the dark council the first time?
...oh. I just had a thought. I'm going to cringe now. Can we find anything which is similar to my abilities regarding deer? If so, does it relate to either of the above queries?
Does anyone else have any additional questions?

So, with 35 lvls of historian working for you, you find... 1) Can we find anything on deer girl?Quothe Alaina Woodsbourne: "During this time [1.2], several notable heroes and figures took part in shaping the chaos of that century and helping to guide it towards a more stable state... The fourth notable figure, though more often known by the child’s fable about the Guardian of Starwatcher, appears to have been a real person; she is, as the story says, a hobbit, and was thought to be a powerful cleric of “the Hobbit Goddess” - assumed, again, to be Yondalla. This guardian watched over and aided travelers through the lower mountain passes, often returning lost wanderers to their correct paths and healing those assailed by the mountain dangers. Though the Guardian passed from history around the turn of the century, her fable is still oft-told as a moral story of kindness and duty." Beyond that - she is usually, as mentioned above, referred to "The Guardian of Starwatcher". It's a fairly common children's fable, especially in western Oldmin, though as with all fables there are several versions of it which are all slightly different. The common storyline between them tend to be that she was a hobbit child who like to play in the mountains, but one day an earthquake kept her from returning to her home in the evening. She got lost trying to find a different way out, and was eventually guided either by the Hobbit Goddess or by the Queen of Hawks to some kind of garden where she could eat and drink and rest. After spending time recovering, she decided that rather than go back home, she would stay in the mountains and help others lost in the mountains as well. She is not associated particularly with deer; if anything, she is associated with hawks, though even that is somewhat questionable. There have been claimed sightings of her at various points since her origin time period, although how credible those sightings are is disputed. Two hypotheses have been put out in the case that she does exist: one, that she is a haunt, and two, that she has some kind of ability to reincarnate (probably in the form of a hawk) whenever her lifespan runs out. (Link to one version of the fable) 2) Can we find anything on the adventurers who defeated the dark council the first time? There were several groups of adventurers, some working in tandem and others working independently, who fought the Dark Council the first time around. The only ones who have recorded names are Maera and Estellion, who led the first real assault to break the power of the Council, and whose appearance signaled the beginning of the end. There is a fairly popular, if lengthy (written by elves, of course) lay about their story, which in sum is that Maera was a half-human daughter of Ceridwen who fell in love with a mortal elf prince named Estellion. They are tested by the gods ("she honed her song and he his blade") and go on adventures in order to learn how to defeat the Council, at the end of which they are allowed to be with one another but at which point Estellion is warned that he has a Doom on him and that he will die if he goes into battle. Maera goes, and not heeding the warning, he goes to fight with her, and is slain taking morganti that would have otherwise hit her. It was their forces who destroyed the Hawk, who appears to have come to them and their army before their assault and surrendered. The secondmost prominent group was responsible for the destruction of both the Hyena and the Serpent, and were all powerful Sorcerers (one for each mage type) with the exception of one warrior. The third group dealt with the Pixie; their group doesn't have any common themes and seems to be more the usual mishmash of adventurers (a shamanistic hobbit, a prince-like human, a mageish elf and dwarf, some kind of thiefy-stealthy-semi-ish human, etc). A few members from both the second and third groups went after Fox as well, but she got to herself before they could get to her. The last group appears to be a band of primarily elves - Ku elves, rather that Illin elves - but not much is known about them besides. 3) Can we find anything which is similar to my abilities regarding deer? If so, does it relate to either of the above queries? There are certainly plenty of records of people who have had an affinity for animals, sometimes for specific ones and sometimes in general. Karin of the Wilds - one of the primary forces in the Falnorian-Xucu'an War - was one such person, though her thing was more about big groups of all kind of animals than one specific one. Among the others are a hobbit ("Flutter" is the nickname which survives into history) who had some kind of affinity for butterflies [mid-late 1.2], an Ardelian human who had an affinity for sea-fish of no particular species [mid 2.2], and another human who was able to communicate with farm animals and was quickly caught for a minor crime and condemned to tennanthood [early 2.2].

Okay, guys. So recently the woman who killed the wolf hobbit girl and cut up Pixie's leg paid us a visit, and as it happens, some of us talked to her. So here is what she told us. Hobbit girl sounds like she was originally not dissimilar to the guardian of Starwatcher. Oracles have showed that this is probably because they were initially both children of the hobbit creator deity in one form or another. Hobbit girl was also apparently not a full member and yet was still a couple thousand years old! Geez. The girl confirmed Hyena's death and implied strongly that what they had of Pixie mostly consisted of a head. This conflicts with prior experiences in which we saw him with half his body. Due to a series of connected experiences I can conclude that the ritual probably sent us into some version of the future. It is theorized that the council has children of all the creator deities seated there. Look out for evidence of this. There is going to be a repeat of a historical phenomenon called the Fall. Do not say "the Fall". Treat it as you would the name of any dangerous and powerful entity whose attention you absolutely did not want.
This has been your plot update, courtesy of Allison.

Due to recent happenings, it is believed that "Crown" invokes either the black king or queen. Due to having hit it really hard, I know Pixie's arm at the very least blocked off divinity by putting up a wall just before the black space between the ethereal and mind realms. This implies that divinity is connected to either that black space or one or more of the higher realms. Due to limited and indefinite evidence, it has been theorized that everyone has some sort of spirit item in the upper realms. I recommend poking things and doing roleplay type stuff to see if your item turns up. And also because poking things yields info usually. And info is good. Due to having met the new heart of the forest, I can say with absolute certainty that Nari forest is alive again. WOO HOO. Awesome missions are awesome. Finally, there is some sort of winter mountain place in what we suspect is the mind realm. It requires solving, but we used up a guess and only have two more. We are still unaware of the question. We have a probably dead party member stuck there, if you go there keep an eye out for Max.
This has been Allison recording plot because it's 2am and she isn't asleep yet.

It's been a while since I updated this thread, but it really needs updating.
SO. Before I start. Let's explain the layers of our plane of existence. Or, as we have called it in the past, the sandwich. (This was a metaphor, not a silly food name, I promise.)
Falnorian is composed of numerous planes stacked on top of one another like the components of a sandwich. Material on the bottom (or at least we have found nothing below it), then Ethereal, then a large black gap before the mind layer, and a little further up (very close to the mind layer) is the dream layer, and then above that there's some kind of fiery layer that's full of raw mana that we can't pass. These five accessible to us correspond to the witchcraft elements of earth, spirit, air, water, and fire respectively.
There are other layers too though. Like the light spectrum, just because we can only see a single portion of the spectrum does not mean there isn't other stuff on it. It sounds like the divine or celestial plane is one of the layers if you go high enough.
This brings us to what the Dark Council is doing right now.
The Dark Council has gotten themselves into some kind of duel with a deity known as the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is an extremely major divinity. From prophecies received, it sounds as though the Council is attempting to feed off of it and take its energy somehow, and in order to do this I guess they're dueling it, and when you duel something it brings you into a space between realms. In this case, a group of people on primarily material, etherial, and dream realms got into a duel with a bein on the divine realm. As a result, the realms are merging and mixing and acting funny and elementals are showing up fighting all over the place and especially along the leyline up north and that's all just general fun stuff. I'll get prophecies up here later. The new ogres and trolls and the wither horses (which are all dead now, we killed the last two today) were there as an attack against the nature side of the Tree of Life.
So that's my understanding of Dark Council plot this year.

The Fox
A thing that I have been lame about posting like I said I would from the Falnorian Jr League players (April 22nd):
The current location of the one known as the fox has been discovered. She is currently in starwatcher mountain(oldmin province), but will probably move because her location has been discovered. She wears a black mask, & carries a morganti short sword, another short sword, & a dagger(probably all magic). As the description of the fox said, she's more of an intel person than a combative type. In combat she generally moves slowly & examines you & makes attacks occasionally. She does however make sudden & aggresive movements and attacks when target is off guard.
Abilities: She has taken 1 morganti hit so far which shows that she has a way to obtain several hp. She can skill drain, & tag you to effectively steal a skill/spell for an encounter (she skill drained elder sorcery which is probably harder to drain than a normal skill). Classes known: She's obveously a skilled diviner/necromancer, but also an amazon as she has throwing darts. Has etherial travel as well. If characters can kill her fast before she moves, this would be an awesome blow to the dark council, as they have already lost several members.
My additions to this list of observations of her abilities and behaviors (today):
I'm not sure "current location" is a relevant set of words when it comes to her. She moves fast. She moves often. She moves on landscapes (the dreamscape and mindscape) where moving can be nearly instantaneous if you want. Her other shortsword is confirmed magic and she was very defensive of it when I took it from her. She got it back without issue, so I don't know what it does. She is definitely an intel person, though also an assassin. She seems vaguely reluctant to actually use the morganti or else I would be very very dead.
Abilities: She is a confirmed guildmaster in both Witch and Dreamwalker classes, a pair of prestige classes focusing on ethereal ream/the dead and the dream/mind realms respectively. She is a very competent sorcerer at least as a Witch. She can summon and charm spirits, as well as pull them out of witch-made items (the only items that have spirits in them for the most part). She seems like a high level diviner, which does not surprise me as Diviner is a very information/interference centered class. She used ranger abilities (mostly snare) and martial artist abilities (disarm and shatter).
She can also mark people. In my case it allowed her to at the very least trace my whereabouts. It would not surprise me if something similar had to be contended with over in Oldmin (though I'm not sure if that'd happen in a Jr League) at some point.

Well, look at this. It's been a while and quite a lot has happened. I will firstly do a general rundown about the Dark Council at this time: The Dark Council
Lion: Human Male Deceased, used to be leader of the Dark Council Serpent: Elf Female - Confirmed alive, seen by Sotchi adventures when she went to The Library - Now leader of Dark Council.
Hawk: Human Female - Deceased by Maera and Estellion Fox: Elf Female - Mask broken - dead and captured - still functioning Pixie: Hobbit Male - Alive, looks like a Hobbit with a detachable jaw, one scaly leg probably taken from a Wyrm and a (dragon?) tail. Maker of Lifedead. Hyena: Dwarf Male - Confirmed Alive, teleported into the Eldspell tower before he was displaced again.
Falcon: Human Male - Deceased - Killed by Serpent(?)
Bow boy aka Lynx - Alive - Broke Mandel prisoners out of high security prison. Spider - We believe he is Alive: think the mass mind control in Eldspell and Mandel is his doing.
Race and Gender: Serpent: Ku Elf Female Fox: Illin Elf Female Pixie: Hobbit Male Hyena: Dwarf Male Lynx: Ku Elf Male Spider: Unkown Male
Lion: Human Male Hawk: Human Female Falcon: Human Male
The Ancients are a way the Dark Council is trying to gain power: I might even say that the ruins that people found up in the Halhar Mountains could have been planted by Fox because the timing of the Ancients and the Fall coming is just too coincidental.
Nalake the Watcher: Head of the Pantheon: - Goddess of Wisdom, Magic, and Prophecy - Serpent
Zirali the Silent: Goddess of the Underworld: - Secrets, and Trickery - Fox
Thangror the Warrior: God of War: - Strength and Crafting . - Hyena
Ezregnak the Maker: - God of Nature, Fertility, and Change - Pixie
Merhk the Hunter: - God of Hunting and Vengence - Lynx
Synis the Giver - God of Hearth and Dreams -Spider (Also tells us that Spider is male) (I will write a longer paper about this in the future- but this is just the list for now)
It was said Zirali the Silent aka Fox was killed by and angel or a child of fate from another pantheon which we were able to acquire visions about: Vision from Tyson's character: A woman, crowned in brilliant light, alone in the dark; a warrior's fist splits a black mask, and a price paid willingly. A seed, cradled in the cover of endless darkness, waiting to be reborn. A warning.
Oracle from Maya: Image of a woman she looks kind of Wall like. Warrior. Fire in her. See light in a dark place. See woman creeping through tunnels with light. See another woman with mask. At first only see mask and then she grin underneath it. She looks pale with long wavy black hair. Feels very distant and echo like. She can see me. Feeling of glass shattered by a punch. A glass pane is split in half and it is the woman’s face. There’s the sound of ripping fabric that feels heavier than the weight of the deaths that she has. Something flies away like a butterfly that turns into cocoon. Feeling of being under someplace deep and dark where nothing of the court of light or any light. The butterflies might be burrowing and might almost be mammalian. Feeling of waiting and biding time.
So Fox was slain by a woman and her mask was shattered which seemed to be a direct correlation to the Black Court. She was slowly recuperating until she was summoned and captured.
