Day One
Missions:
Escort two prisoners from Falnin to Mandel. Mission success, one prisoner died, but we got all to Mandel. People tried to talk to them. They spouted bullshit. Didn’t fall for it.
Investigate a large beast on the top of the plateau. Mission Failed. Got murdered by skeletons and made it back to town.
Patrol the borders and make sure that people are not getting in. Mission Success (?-didn’t find anyone who was trying to take advantage of the situation), the patrols seemed reasonable. Got beaten up by trolls.
Investigate why bodies were going missing from graveyards. Mission success. Found that undead were taking the bodies. For what purpose it is still unknown, The Necromancer was informed. The undead: mostly Zombies, one Cryptkeeper, one Bodysnatcher, a few Grave Ghouls, one Deathknight(?). That was all I saw.
Deal with bandits. Mission success. First attempt was a failure, second we succeeded. Not much else to say.
My Humble Opinion
We are a capable group. We have our differences yet those are let go when the time for action comes. Alright that’s my opinion of the ability of the group.
All of us came here for our different reasons. I don’t care what their reasons are, I really don’t care. Honestly, from what I saw today they will be productive.
My reasons are as follows. To help people, to keep them from harm, and to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Now you know why I’m here.
I understand that most of you care about others. But something bugged me during the day. Let me leave it as this. I’m not sure if people hold the same motives.
Perhaps I’m wrong but seeing what I saw shook me, and I would never want that happen to anyone. I will have to be strong and not afraid to act.
But after her death it will always take me effort to keep moving. I can’t stand by and watch while others get hurt, not anymore, never again. If I can save them then perhaps she can forgive me.
