((This would have been published at the beginning of last time jump, likely in the first 5 years or so))
The Riddler appeared in front of us with a mask that was always smiling, eyes that never closed. He had a black cloak and long morganti claws, claws that weren’t there before. Before Him, three morganti daggers, all facing outwards in opposite directions. In front of the first dagger there was a key, in front of the middle there was a sphere of energy, in front of the last there was an hourglass. We in opposition placed three white daggers opposing His three, as well as a deck of cards.
Then the riddles started. We each asked three. Switching off each time. Whenever we answered incorrectly, the person who said the answer would get a morganti hack with one of the daggers, on either an arm or leg. (He didn't use to do that, did he? Before, it was just fingers removed with the morganti, never entire limbs. Perhaps its the claws. They've changed Him.) Time would freeze, but we were still aware. We could see Him stand and walk over to hack the person, but could never do anything. Then He rolled some dice. They were random, and whoever it landed on either got a morganti hack on their arm, leg, ears or tongue.
He asked three riddles, and we answered two correctly. We asked three as well, though He only got one correct.
After correctly answering two of his three riddles, we got to choose between the key, the orb or the hourglass. The hourglass would give us more time, the orb more guesses and the key would give us any answer. We asked a few questions to The Riddler, but He did not answer and said they were incorrect questions. Instead, we decided to keep the key to ask at a later time. A party member, the man who invoked His name three times, kept the key and held on to it as we returned back to the material plane. The key will allow us to ask a question any time and get an answer, but only once.
