Close but not quite. The idea is that if this world is sacrificed to The Dagdemar that those who served Him in life and died are taken to the next world to be sacrificed and get to plunder and ravage a new world, pure and untouched. Those who please the Dagdemar get to be reborn as the best positions in the taking of the next.

Using just shy of 60 lvls in historian (more like 58), courtesy of Xey and Enyari:
1) The North Star. What happened to him after he left the Waning Moon Warriors? Was he known to have died somewhere, or did he disappear, and was he known to have gone to any particular place, etc...?
(Edit: 1.5 - Why was he called the North Star, anyway?)
2) What manner of weaponry was Broden known to use?
----
(Edit also: I think the former questions are being researched as what should appear to be just general research about the Waning Moon Warriors. Not him specifically. So that if anything is being watched, it looks more like general interest in the group. The latter question is being posed to Melissa, and carefully so.)
-----
Edit again: So it turns out that as I'm thinking about the Waning Moon Warriors, there are lots of questions popping up. So I guess we end up researching them in general anyway. More questions:
a) What classes were each of them? b) How did they get their name - "Waning Moon Warriors"? c) "Turned the river back"? Any historical context for that? d) Where did they get/find/receive the Pathfinder items? e) My scribblenotes way back from Gavin Whitecloud say something about the WMWs having had something to do with releasing the unicorns or something? What on earth does that mean?

See below for the answers to your questions. 1) The North Star. What happened to him after he left the Waning Moon Warriors? Was he known to have died somewhere, or did he disappear, and was he known to have gone to any particular place, etc...? Read the poem by Lady Mira of Amir - Seekers of Many Things (should be in the forums- if not I will send you a copy). It is now held that he probably went out East like the rest of them. It wasn't know that they even went out East until the fourth age. Also see Codes Found in Oriri for more on this.
(Edit: 1.5 - Why was he called the North Star, anyway?). It is believed that he had a minor pathfinder item- something that allowed him to fit in with the rest of them. Not something of Merigrads but a different item of location type power.
2) What manner of weaponry was Broden known to use? Huge Two Handed Morganti Cleaver (massive, made for something size 10ish). It was unforced though in a Duel with Snigglefriz the Barbarian Hobbit. He also used Morganti broadsword, Morgoanti long sword, two shortswords, and a spear at times.

Edit again: So it turns out that as I'm thinking about the Waning Moon Warriors, there are lots of questions popping up. So I guess we end up researching them in general anyway. More questions: Short answers for now... a) What classes were each of them? Penelope (Knight, Ranger, Archer, Paladin?) Tordil (Elder Sorcerer- exclusively...), Hefas (Paladin- crafter of some kind), Lorik (Paladin, Veteran), Vojan (Flame, Theif). b) How did they get their name - "Waning Moon Warriors"? It refers to the fading light of the dark age. In the dark, the only light is the moon, and when that is waning, there is even less. They were the warriors in that last light bringing things back towards hope. c) "Turned the river back"? Any historical context for that? This refers to the sweeping chaos of the Dark Age and how they "turned the river of Blackspire back" or so it is commonly held. It is also believed that the world was heading towards destruction and they turned the flow of the fate of Roekron back towards goodness. d) Where did they get/find/receive the Pathfinder items? Each came upon the separately apparently by accident. Merigrads had hidden them away in various dungeons and each of them discovered the ones they found in different dungeons. It was their quest for the Ring of All Things that actually brought them together. Penelope is the granddaughter of Lord Amerities (ruler of Amir at that time) and heir to the throne of Amir. She was already in Amir. The rest came to her. e) My scribblenotes way back from Gavin Whitecloud say something about the WMWs having had something to do with releasing the unicorns or something? What on earth does that mean? Your mixing up stories. The pathfinder items were used to release he unicorns indirectly and by a different set of heroes. The stories tell that adventurers went into the east, found the pathfinder items that the WMW left there, and used them to find something else in Roekron that allowed them to release the unicorns. All these heroes later were turned into Carakwaith or killed (as far as we know) - Talys, Cieto Sharpclaw, Nim, Nightcrawler, Hiro, and many more.

If this thread is still active, 138 levels in Historian for what mythic and legendary items were in the Grey Isles at the time of the catastrophe, and, if there is enough record, which users of those items would have been near the edges of an Island. I checked in Pinnacle and Astengrad for these records.

Hey Chris! I asked some people to help compile a list of historical questions they have so I could put them all in one place. I understand it's very long, so if you have time to answer just a few of these that would be great.
1: (Quoting an earlier portion of this thread) "It was the ring of all things that brought them together."
"Far more rare than the famous books that caused the revolution."
What was the significance of the ring of all things in the time of the waning moon warriors, and what is known about its origin? What revolution is it referring to?
2: What is known about the famous two-headed giants (those being Spike Drank and I believe one other was mentioned at one point recently), are they an off-world species? A blessing?
3: (again quoting forum): "There is good evidence though from several first hand accounts that Gorotock Itack was made into a multi armed Iron Golem and would have returned to dominate the battles of the fourth age had he not been taken over by an Outer Plane Demon who gated him and the weapon into it's plane. They have not been heard from since."
Can you give some context as to how this happened? What is known about this outer plane demon, and what even is an outer plane demon?
4: What is known about merfolk culture and any points in time where it has had any major conflict or communication with Roekron? Are there any notable items discovered that were made by merfolk?
5: (on the item Elile gliminin): "Elile was forged by hobbits and contains a hobbit spirit." Was Elile a famous hobbit of the time?
6: Is it known how Tordil was able to create such powerful items without (supposedly) being an enchanter? Are there any logs of specific spells he created?
7: What were the powers of Penelope Ravenblade's ruby ring?
8: what are the documented encounters with void elements?
9: what are all the legendary items and possible legendary items mentioned in Artanos handbook guide to notable magical objects?
10: what makes an item legendary (also referencing Artano if he wrote a chapter on that)?
11: particularly humorous or exciting stories about Astengrad Grisodemdal and Stormwatcher's escapades?
12: Transcript of conversation with onna about the beginning of the world?
13: (Quoting text on sword of dragon song/dragon fear): "Modelled after some very old swords of the first age." What items are being referred to? Also what Material are they (and the shield of dragon scales) made out of?
14: Are there any recorded encounters with Earth child Sun lord or black lady?
15: How did gorotok Itak rise to power in blackspire before attempting to conquer the rest of Roekron?
16: What is known about the origin of the rod of the chameleon and any notable encounters with it post-Lady nonas?
17: What is known about the Telepelec hobbits and how their items came to Roekron?
18: Who was the legendary samurai veteran knight amazon Urukai "Uruk the ugly"?
19: is it known how the "fear caller" or "summons _ creature" actually affects/alerts the creatures in question?
20: What is the origin of the ring of star streams?
21: Who is accepted to be the best current enchanter in the world?
22: what are common myths of pre first age history?
23: What is the grey war mentioned in the skeleton key?
24: Notable geography and history of Lumicast the mountain?
25: What is known about the supposed off-world origin of deaths blossom and how did they get here?
26: What is the gorgons eye made of? What is the spirit inside of it?
27: What was Minimotos naginata?
28: (Quoting dagger of glimmindel): "modeled after those that were originally made in the grey isles before the catastrophe at the end of the first age..."
What daggers is this item referencing?
29: What are the known surviving 2nd generation dragons?
30: what was the birthplace/original nation of stormwatcher/astengrad/grisodemdal/Merrigrad?
31: what was early Temnorian culture like?
