I've translated as much as we have of the code that was found at adult league on Sunday. If someone remembers where the pieces were found, it would be great if they could post that. ----
There are chains in the dark, and the betrayer lives on in death His hate and lust now seek to chain another seasons harvest He is known to me, and known to us both, when we were life Chains in the tombs to bind the unwilling and release the bound A mirror, a serpent in the lake, our children fed to the doorkeeper Long ago the griffin guards brought down the fearsome, in the war that is unwritten And called on the god of the Alliance to bury them here, far from the reaches of the new dark And here then remained until he brought his chains and betrayed us all Now he returns to his home, dead but more alive Every leaf and every branch is known to him, and his hunger comes to devour his~ He was not always so, and should never have been. ~ There is a bend in the river, and the eddy brought him back~ Stones, a wheel, a chain.~ Worn around the~ Burned ~

Sweet, thank you. Also, here's my attempted interpretation for this in terms of first impressions and questions and all. Mostly just gonna be me saying "what the heck is this" at it a bunch of times.:
"There are chains in the dark, and the betrayer lives on in death" Who is the betrayer? "Lives on in death" seems like he's undead, maybe? Also "chains". That word has been popping up a lot, and I wonder of its significance. "His hate and lust now seek to chain another seasons harvest" Creating more undead, sounds like? Which means he's done it before. Ryssic maybe? I don't know nearly enough about him to say for sure. Maybe this is relevant to the Morgal Mud holding undead and the paper being found on them. Is there a way to find out if those it absorbs are specific people?
"He is known to me, and known to us both, when we were life" Who is me, and who is us? Is us them and the reader? Or a specific person? And what's with them being "life", rather than "alive"?
"Chains in the tombs to bind the unwilling and release the bound" Still with the whole undead theme. Though "release the bound" is weird for that. Release from death maybe? From other masters?
"A mirror, a serpent in the lake, our children fed to the doorkeeper" I thought we were done with all this lake nonsense. What mirror, what serpent, what lake, what children? And who's the doorkeeper?
"Long ago the griffin guards brought down the fearsome, in the war that is unwritten" Who are the griffin guards? A group, literal griffins, a metaphor? Seems like a historiany question. And what unwritten war? Seems like an unwritten war would be hard to research.
"And called on the god of the Alliance to bury them here, far from the reaches of the new dark" Who is the Alliance? Where is "here"? Maybe more to do with the Morgul Mud undead, since it comes from underground? That seems like a weird stretch though. Also what is the "new dark"? Ugh.
"And here then remained until he brought his chains and betrayed us all" The betrayer again I think. So he didn't always live "here", he came and then did whatever the betrayal was.
"Now he returns to his home, dead but more alive" So I'd think that means he's leaving again. And the "dead but more alive" line seems to imply he wasn't that way before? Or maybe he's just still that way and bleh.
"Every leaf and every branch is known to him, and his hunger comes to devour his~" So he's very smart. Or maybe a God. Or some bs like that. Woo.
"He was not always so, and should never have been. ~ There is a bend in the river, and the eddy brought him back~" More timey wimey garbage, yay. Somebody somewhere screwed up time and made him happen. Which makes me think he's not a traditional big bad, but who knows.
"Stones, a wheel, a chain.~" Spell wheel? I don't know enough about how that worked to properly theorize, but I think it involved magicy stones? Or something did. More historian questions! We do know that the spell wheel was involved in the stuff Gristodemdal screwed up, and that he messed up time, yes? So perhaps this is Grey Isles related.
Worn around the~ Burned ~
------
So basically I have no idea, and kinda just wanna throw a historian at this entire document. Fun times.

Just a few things that jumped out of me:
My first impression is that "the Betrayer" refers to the dark god Morgoth from Tolkien's legendarium. He was the strongest of the Ainur created by El Iluvatar, and bore the name Melkor. He betrayed the Aiunur by attempting to corrupt Arda (the world that the Ainur created) and bringing evil into their creation. He's been brought up a few times so far this season, almost always in direct relation to the strange creatures and activity of the various elven woods. Also, upon being defeated the first time, shortly after the awakening of the elves, Melkor was bound by a great chain called Angainor and brought back to Valor, the home of the Valar in the West.
It's possible that the "griffin guards" refers to the Griffin Clan, a group of High Elves that founded the Shadow Order. They were supposedly wiped out by the Dread Eye Weapons a long time ago. See Artano's Footnote for the information in full. Not sure what "the fearsome" might be though.
Also, the "Alliance," when all capitalized like that, may be referring to the Andionion Alliance (again, see Artano's Footnote), the gathering together of all the elven nations elves and the humans of Illionass to fight back against Dagdeoth. As an aside, the sword Danduin, which has shown up in Club League and seems to have some significance, is strongly associated with the Alliance.

I definitely agree with the assessment that this paper is referring to Morgoth. The plot in Ein Ion this season seems heavily tied to Morgoth and his strengthening influence on the region, and the symbolism of chains, betrayer, etc. matches up as well. Also:
"Long ago the griffin guards brought down the fearsome, in the war that is unwritten And called on the god of the Alliance to bury them here, far from the reaches of the new dark And here then remained until he brought his chains and betrayed us all"
I don't know if this actually squares with the history of Roekron or not, but this seems like it could be referring to the Luphgaunts that were trapped under Eines Mien. I've never heard of Morgoth being involved with their release, though. That passage seems to be referring to something that happened in the past, sort of describing the history of the situation, so there are a lot of possible applications to consider.
