So this thread is for the purpose of the Ancestor vision we got today, which has quite a few portents. I don't have the copy, but I believe that Kim has the transcript and she can post it when she get's home.

What we were doing: Made a sacrifice to the Ancestors (not of any clan, specifically of the Sorikonia in general) requesting aid in defending Sorikonia in some way. We received a vision and some kind of prophecy thing.
Vision: See a stone - a stone wall. There is a sense of emptiness, vacantness, and sadness from the wall. See flowers growing out of the ground, but dying before they bloom. See people working in fields, trying to tend crops, but nothing will grow. See wind blowing, dirt and such blowing in the wind, clods of dirt breaking apart and blowing away. See people tired and worn-down and weary. See a dark cloud turning... waiting... watching... See people becoming tired, then hungry, then getting angry and fighting See the dark cloud again, turning... waiting... watching...
Prophecy: See the back of a warrior - a samurai. They take off their helm and look down at it; their lips are moving, and they look back up. We hear the words...
(Unfortunately, we did not manage to record the words of the prophecy. This endeavor can be moved upon another time - there are ways to do it, and prophecies have a habit of popping up all over the place. I will now give snippets and idea from the prophecy, in the rough order that they appeared.)
Wind blowing, sand Chains (holding something?) Fire and life, protecting this place
(Nick, Allison, Dev - help fill in the gaps?)

Okay, before I post what I remember, I want to enact a policy. If this ever happens again, we need a way to remember as much as possible, so if we are in a situation like this again, then we will probably be in groups of 3 as that is special. So Names in alphabetical order 1st remembers 1st part 2nd remembers middle 3rd remembers last Remember everything you can, but it is better if we each remember 2 different sentences, as opposed to all the same. I will post what I have later.

An alternate strategy that I've learned is to just carry a pen and paper with you everywhere. xD It works better if 2+ people do it. Then if you get into a situation where you need to write something down, the people write down alternating lines so that each person has time to *finish* transcribing the line before their next one pops up.

Stone wall Flowers below, growing then dying before blooming. Farmers growing crops, but nothing is growing. (I don’t remember the rest) Dark cloud waiting. Samurai with a helm in his hand, looks at it, and tries to speak. Dark cloud waiting.
Prophecy thing: Sand wearing, Fire and life will protect.
I feel like I'm forgetting something, and it's no different from what Kim has, but here is what I remember. How can we get this again, you said there were ways?

...Aug. >.< Yes, there are ways. Unfortunately, this is the part where I have just realized that these characters wouldn't know ways to get it again, so I probably should not be explaining what they are.
I guess that in mind, I would suggest "wait", and see if it turns up anywhere again.

Was there something about a gateway at the end of the prophecy? Anyone else remember anything?

I don't have anything different from Kim, only I think the flowers were growing in front of the wall. ___
Amara suggests writing poems at it, because Kyrin got a prophecy-riddle-thing that way once and there was this woman Ishmael who was really good at getting info that way. Or you could meditate, because, well, focusing of thoughts, maybe helpful. That or oracling could be employed if our party has acquired a nature mage.
Or in theory there's other stuff that you can but shouldn't do. But she would rather you (we) didn't learn those techniques until we have waited to see if it comes up elsewhere.
